PostHeaderIcon I'm really interested in starting to play the cello and the guitar. Which should I learn how to play first?

Like, would it be easier to learn to play the cello after I know how to play the guitar, or vice versa?

In my opinion the cello is more challenging than the guitar but guitar is wayy easier to learn than the cello.
It kinda depends if you want to get to the hard stuff first or the easy.
In my opinion learn the cello first.

PostHeaderIcon If I wanted to learn how to play the guitar……….?

i want to learn to play guitar, but i like electric guitars the best. Would it be easier to start with an acoustic guitar or should i just just jump into learning how to play en electric guitar???

It depends on what kind of music you want to play. Neither one is easier. Just make sure you practice as much as you can, and you will have no problem with really any kind of guitar you play.

PostHeaderIcon Do you guys know how to ease the pain on your fingers while playing the guitar?

Well i have chubby finger tips and it actually kinda hurts when i push down on the strings. Do you guys know a way to ease the pain without losing the quality of Guitar Playing?

If you're just starting out, then your fingertips will hurt because they're not used to this kind of pressure. Keep practicing through the pain, unless it gets really bad then stop and pick it up the next day. Getting calluses (hard bits of skin on your fingertips that prevent your fingers from hurting), takes time and will either develop fast or slow depending on how long and often you practice.

If you've been playing for a while (ie. more than a month) and your fingertips still hurt, then most likely the action on your guitar is too high, making the strings difficult to press down. Take your guitar down to a music store and get the action lowered. I had to do this for my acoustic, and after the fix playing it was much easier.

PostHeaderIcon How to play an easy Taylor Swift song on guitar?

I've never really played guitar before but I was hoping that I could get a brief idea of a Taylor song that is simple to play on the guitar or any good sites on how to play guitar and or her songs. I really want to learn and I just love her songs. Please help me! Even if it's just a link to a website. THANKS!

I use Ultimate-Guitar.com. I play a lot of her songs for fun and I get the chords from there. Make sure you use the ones that say "chords", though, instead of tabs. And there are also some chords that I can't do (F, Bm) so I just don't try those songs (Love Story, White Horse). And also try to look for the ones that are well-rated and say "Difficulty: Novice" under the "INFO" thing.

Enjoy :]
