the best way to learn the guitar is to take lessons with a good qualified instructor in your area. explain what you want and a teacher can help you pick out and learn appropriate material. Start off with simple folk songs and campfire songs (they are easy to play and sing)

You just gotta practice alot, get the song down first, learn the lyrics good and then just take it slow and dont give up, it will come eventually
