PostHeaderIcon Is it hard to learn how to play the acoustic guitar?

I’m 15, and I have become really interested to learn how to play the acoustic guitar.
I would like to know if it is hard?
& i know perfect practice makes perfect.
:)
thanks for answers

It’s not hard to learn as long as you have the desire to learn. Some people think that if they take lots of lessons that they will be a good player. NOT SO. You either have talent or you don’t. Music is a gift !
If your really interested, go for it. Hopefully you’ll love playing as much as I do.
And if by chance you make it big one day, I want front row seats at your concert. LOL :)

There are some who have natural ability. I think it is having an "ear" for music. You can hear what something sounds like and hear when you are playing it right. Others have to learn by reading the notes and hoping that the music they are reading is correctly written. Still others are a combination of the two. For some it comes relatively easy. Others not so much. Guitar, like many other things is highly individual.

Not if you are motivated. Then it’s really fun and easy. Something that kept me motivated while I was learning was to listen to pieces of music that I really liked and then go to the guitar and try to play parts of it. It was always exciting when I could play even just a little bit of the song.
