Should I get my Uncle to teach me how to play the guitar?
I'm at my Auntie's house and I'm bored cause my cousins are out. My uncle is upstairs and he's really musical and is always playing the guitar. I've been wanting to learn the guitar for a while. But he might be asleep and I get abit shy around him and I don't want to be a nuisance. Should I seize the oppurtunity and go and ask him to teach me some chords or something?

Yes, you should. It would be a great way to bond with him and you'll get comfortable around him and not be so shy. You won't be a nuisance. He might love the opportunity to teach you and he'll be happy you asked. It's nice chance for the two of you to spend some time together.

Guitar's easy to learn by yourself if you just want to learns chords and such… I wouldn't risk feeling in comfortable in front of him. I'm a wimp.

You get anybody who is available to teach you this wonderful instrument. The Guitar is one of my favorites and I'm starting to learn it myself.
The thing is … You have to want to learn .. and stick with it. Don't waste his time or yours.
It's a precious gift when a person learns to play and enjoy music and sharing it with others is a wonderful thing also.
Stick with it. (smiling)
